Dress Code
School Dress Code Attire
WOLCS has chosen the following school attire for our students in order to promote a positive and appropriate school appearance. We require students to follow these policies along with parental/family support.
School administration reserves the right and privilege to clarify and/or make the final judgment of policy and student appearance. School clothing and/or the general appearance of a WOLCS student should be modest, neat, well fitted and in good taste to uphold biblical teachings. School attire should not call for undue or distracting attention.
School Attire for Girls
WOLCS Logo Polo Shirts (navy, gold, gray) must be purchased from the school during WOLCS’ Uniform Sales or from our approved third party vendor, Easy Print Tees 13359 Foothill Blvd., Fontana 92335 Phone: (909) 463-3770
Jumpers, Skirts, Skorts, Pants, Capris and Shorts (navy or khaki) may be purchased from the school uniform section of your favorite store.
Shorts – fingertip length or longer
Skirts and jumpers may be no shorter than 3” above the knee when kneeling
Shorts or leggings must be worn under skirts and jumpers.
Shoes: Tennis shoes or other athletic type shoes suitable for play worn with socks.
Outerwear Jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts must be school uniform only with the school logo. Plain Navy cardigans are acceptable.
School Attire for Boys
WOLCS Logo Polo Shirts (navy, gold, gray) must be purchased from the school during WOLCS’ Uniform Sales or from our approved third party vendor, French Toast.
Pants and Shorts (navy or khaki) may be purchased from the school uniform section of your favorite store.
Long pants including cargo pants
Shorts - mid-thigh length or longer
Shoes: Tennis shoes or other athletic type shoes suitable for play worn with socks. Crocs are permitted in sport-mode on Fridays only if a donation of new Crocs were made. No flip-flops, or slippers.
Field trips
All students must wear WOLCS gold polo shirts on field trips.
General guidelines every school day:
There should be no extreme or unnatural hair color or hairstyles.
Pants, shorts, skirts or skorts are to be worn at the waist level (above the hip bone). No baggy or tight fitting clothing is allowed.
Underclothes must be covered at all times.
Tops must cover the midriff at all times.
Hats and/or sunglasses are not to be worn indoors.
Earrings:
For boys - no earrings are acceptable
For girls - small stud-type earrings that lay flat against the ear are acceptable
Girls must wear play shorts underneath their skirts or jumpers while on any play equipment.
General Guidelines Free Dress Days:
Students are allowed to wear free dress as indicated on specified dates on the school calendar.
In addition to the above guidelines the following apply to free dress:
Jeans are permitted but they must not be ripped, torn or have holes.
T-shirts are to be free of inappropriate wording, images, logos or non-Christian bands.
No open-toed shoes, slippers or flip flops are allowed for reasons of playground safety.
Leggings must be worn only with tops that are fingertip to knee length. No yoga pants with short, or cropped t-shirts. T-shirts must come just above the knee.
School Dress Violations:
Students who come to school out of dress code will be directed to the administration office and parent(s) will be contacted to bring appropriate school uniform/attire. Students will not be allowed to return to the classroom until they are in proper school uniform/attire.
